The highly diastereo- and enantioselective title reaction of a range of cyclic imines with various potassium allyltrifluoroborates most likely proceeds via allylrhodium(I) intermediates, and represents the first rhodium-catalyzed enantioselective nucleophilic allylation of π electrophiles with allylboron compounds.
