| Title: | New Primary Schools |
| Authors: | Anonymous |
| Issue Date: | Aug-1955 |
| Publisher: | Her Majesty's Stationery Office |
| Series/Report no.: | Building Bulletin 1 |
| Abstract: | This bulletin is a new venture. It has been obvious for some time that there is a need (or guidance on educational building matters which is less formal than regulations, circulars or administrative memoranda, and which will reach a wider audience than official letters. The bulletin is designed to meet this need. It does not take the place of more formal documents such as the Building Regulations or the
Memorandum about them, but, being of a more flexible and empirical character, it can take account, in a way which they cannot, of changing ideas and techniques. As the views of its authors evolve by discussion between their readers and themselves and by experience gained “on the ground", each subject covered by the bulletin will be reviewed. |
