| Abstract: | These regulations, made by the Minister of Power and the Secretary of State for Scotland acting jointly, prescribe for the purpose of subsection (1)(b) of section one of the Nuclear Installations (Licensing and Insurance) Act, 1959, certain classes of installations designed or adapted for carrying out processes which are preparatory or ancillary to the production or use
of atomic energy and which involve or might cause the emission of ionising radiations; the regulations also prescribe installations for storing irradiated nuclear fuel |
