| Abstract: | These Regulations revoke the Shipbuilding Regulations, 1931, which were designed for the safety, health and welfare of persons employed in the construction and repair of ships in sbipbuilding yards. The present Regulations, which are wider in scope, are designed for the safety, health and welfare
of persons employed in the construction and repair of ships and vessels in a yard or dry dock and in the construction and repair of ships (but not of vessels other than ships) in a harbour or wet dock. |
