| Abstract: | This Order supplements the Firemen's Pension Scheme 1973 and the
Firemen's PenSIon Scheme (War Service) Order 1979 ("the 1979 Order"). The
Order makes provision for firemen and former firemen who have been unable
to reckon their war service for pension purposes under the 1979 Order solely
because they have transferred between the firemen's pension scheme and other
pension schemes of the kinds referred to in Article 3 of and Schedule 2 to tbe
