| Abstract: | Article 2 of this Order designates the Sports grounds specified therein as sports grounds requiring safety certificate under the Safety of Sports Ground Act 1975. That Act was amended by Schedule 2 to the Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sport Act 1987 so that references to sports grounds were substituted for the references to sports stadia.
Articles 3 and 4 of this Order vary the Orders referred to therein by omitting entries, which, with the exception of the Sheffield Sports Stadium, are no longer sports grounds. That Stadium is no longer used for the same purposes as those other grounds designatcd under the 1975 Act |
