| Abstract: | These Regulations, which come into force on 1st January 1994, introduce revised
practical examinations (set out in the Schedule to these Regulations) for promotion in a fire brigade to the ranks of leading firefighter and sub-officer save that, in the latter case, the reference to an exercise in fireground procedure and control (set out in paragraph (b) In Part 11 of the Schedule) remains unaltered. The Regulauons also make a transitional provision with regard to provisions (governing eligibility to enter a practical examination) which operate by reference to non-attendance at the examination in question in the
previous year. |
