| Abstract: | This dissertation is part of a Darwin project, which has been the collection of the data from sources, such as TROPIKOS and BGBASE databases, that has been collected by individual botanists. After that, a database containing the known records for savanna plants, has been created by the Royal Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh. This data contains locational information and therefore the visualisation of this information becomes the aim of the project. The visualisation of the records was achieved by creating a prototype and interactive with the user web site that runs on localhost. A questionnaire was taken into consideration that was developed to facilitate the web service design process. |
