Authors: van Rossum, Mark
de Boer, Johannes
Nieuwenhuizen, Th.M
Issue Date: 1995
Citation: Physical Review E, Volume 52, Number 2, August 1995
Publisher: The American Physical Society
Abstract: The probability distibution of the total transmission is studied for waves multiply scattered from a random, static configuration of scatterers. A theoretical study of the second and third cumulants of this distribution is given. This is in good agreement with data of optical experiments.
